When she isn’t homeschooling two of her three daughters, you may find Kate nose-deep in a plant or combing the yard for intact insects to check out. She will devour a good book in an evening and breeze through a captivating TV show like it’s her job. Pretending to be a CrossFitter when she can’t bench more than 70 pounds reinforces the delusion that she’s fit mom and keeps the hope alive that one day she’ll be a good runner. She’s always ready for the next adventure whether in life or in fantasy.
